Hybrids are cross bred from pure breeds to produce high numbers of eggs per year, this is usually in the region of 250- 340 eggs per year depending on their breed. Hybrid birds are breed to be good egg layers, and to be friendly and docile.
We have Hybrid's of all types. Currently we are stocking:
Bluebell
Light Sussex
Silver Sussex
Black Rock
Speckled Maran
These are Point of Lay females, which will lay light to medium brown eggs. £15 each
We are currently stocking three different breeds of coloured egg layers.
Burford Browns (Dark brown egg)
Skyline Blue and Olive Eggers (Blue and olive egg)
These are Point of Lay females. £17 each
We offer discounts on 10 or more hybrids.
